Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, at the age of 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight for UFC. Rose has had highs and lows throughout her professional career, but she always comes out triumphant. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with an technical knockout that took just under 3 minutes Round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was awarded Fighter Of The Night. Rose has also created MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first woman to challenge for a champion title in any major organization. Namajunas then went on to win a few other fights. She also defeated Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, winning two Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
